How To Sell Art Home Page

We have but one goal here, that is to teach you how to sell framed art! To do this there are a number of things you need to know to be successful at selling art. We have listed below links to a few of the basic things you really need to be aware of.

Teach your sales staff how to sell art!

Have you ever seen those framed prints in furniture stores that seem to hang there forever? People love to buy art, but they are not foolish either. Many people today know the value of art, and the value of proper framing. In fact they can learn it right here on this site. Every visitor to our learning center quickly gets educated about art. It is up to the store owner and their sales staff to do the same thing. Unless the sales staff knows the information in our learning center they will never be successful at selling art! That is no understatement. This learning center has the basic information in it that is required of anyone buying or selling art today. It is wrote in everyday language. Everyone should be able to understand everything, and if more knowledge is required there are many good books written about art.

I can almost assure you that your sales staff will never be really successful at selling art unless they know the material in our learning center, whether they get their knowledge here or from some other source. Having your art sales people read this material and going over the rest of our site, so they know what art is available is your first step to successful sales. In fact, we consider it a must! Some stores like the one shown here have too large a staff to teach everyone how to sell art. What they do is have a few capable individuals in charge of art sales. When someone comes into their store expressing an interest in art, the staff immediately calls one of these individuals over to deal with this customer. It is far better than letting the average sales person show his ignorance about art to a knowledgeable customer. Some customers can tell good art work from bad thirty feet away. Your art sales staff should be able to do the same thing!
