Determine The Size You Need!

Ordering Picture Frame Chops and completed picture frames from us is really easy!

Once you have read these few pages once, you can skip right over them the next time
and go directly to the Quick Frame Ordering Page!

There are three easy steps to ordering a frame from us.

  • Determine the exact "glass" size of the frame you need. (this page)
  • Determine how many feet of moulding you need. (Second page)
  • Determine the price of the frame and order it. (Third page)

Determine the "glass" size:
Exactly how big a frame do you need? If you laid a piece of glass over your complete art project, whether it be a picture, a painting, or mats, or whatever; anything you wanted to frame, and wanted to drop this piece of glass into a picture frame, that is the size of picture frame or chop you order. We are calling this the "glass" size. You will always order the glass size.

There should be no error unless you give us the wrong measurements. You always order the "glass size". We automatically cut all pictures frames slightly oversize so that your "glass" or other art will easily drop into the finished picture frame. This is standard procedure for any picture frame supplier. For example, a common 8x10 picture frame you see in any department store actually measures 8 1/8 x 10 1/8 inches. You do not have to do any figuring about these sizes.
Just simply order the "glass" size you need and we will do the rest.
