Molding
Hooks
These hangers are used to hang pictures from molding that is secured
around the top of a wall. The larger part of the hooks you see go
over this molding, then the picture framing wire goes over the smaller
bottom hook. The length of the wires are adjusted so that you can
hang your pictures at any height you wish, without having to be
constantly driving nails into the wall. Indeed, you don't have to
drive any nails ! These are used in lots of galleries and homes
where many pictures are hung, or are constantly being changed around.
The hangers on the left above are narrow (1/4" wide) and made
of heavy brass. The hangers on the right are wider (5/8 " wide)
and both are 1 3/4 " long, and both fit over the exact same
molding Both are equally strong and will hold large pictures. This
molding is usually brought at building supply centers. These Molding
Hooks have been much requested by our customers !

Mighty Hangers
On large heavy pictures use two of these hangers instead of using
screw eyes. Then you connect the hanging wire to these hangers.
Makes a very secure mount for the larger pictures. No worrying about
screw eyes pulling out. When screwed down to the frame, there is
a built in loop that sticks up for putting the wire around, this
is not seen in the picture.
